Re: Run a script on session close (SSH, RDP)?

Thanks,
will dig into that. I suppose this is not going to work for RDP sessions, only ssh ones.

Run a script on session close (SSH, RDP)?

Hi,
googled a bit but could not find a solution to this:
I'd like a shell script with some cleanup functions to run after I logout of SSH or RDP session to my Pi, is that possible?
Thanks for pointers

Re: Frequent power outages - any tips to better prepare for

Guys, where I live we have frequent power outages. I have damaged numerous SD cards and to some degree lost my faith in the Pi's reliability. How is the Pi considered unreliable if the issue is down to your acknowledged frequent power outages? If you had a top-end HP/IBM enterprise class server, wi...

Re: Frequent power outages - any tips to better prepare for

I thought about this too, but that's not so mobile.. and not so cheap.

What I meant is to take measures in the OS itself to reduce the risk of data loss to some reasonable extent..if possible.

Frequent power outages - any tips to better prepare for this

Guys, where I live we have frequent power outages. I have damaged numerous SD cards and to some degree lost my faith in the Pi's reliability. Any tips on how to make the system more "rugged"? Maybe disabling swap file? any tips are welcome
Thanks

Pi remote mouse and keyboard using x2x for windows?

I have hooked up my Pi with a miniature display, but am reluctant to dedicate a keyboard and mouse for it since it will be mostly collecting dust. I have been reading this http://www.statusq.org/archives/2012/06/02/4120/ on how to set it up, but unfortunately it uses x2x that seems unavailable for W...

Re: php and uart serial output

thanks for replying. I did that already before posting my question and am able to receive using PHP serial class, but sending won't work nicely. Connections are all fine, this is ruled out. I reduced to 9600 baud too.

Re: Uart pin type question

I have an Attiny84 (3.3V) talkig both ways directly to the Pi over UART via the NewSoftSerial library, no level shifting, works pretty straight forward. Would that help?

Re: Installing FUSE, the Spectrum emulator. Arch or Debian i

can you check if you have a file named 'configure' in your fuse1.0.0.1a folder? it is ~500K in size. You need to run the sudo sh ./configure while you are inside the fuse folder

Re: Installing FUSE, the Spectrum emulator. Arch or Debian i

Guys, I am fillowing the debian instructions and am almost there, except for a silly error that I can't get around: I get “error while loading shared libraries: libspectrum.so.8″ even though I did export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/lib and I see the libspectrum.so.8 in /usr/local/lib Any tip to get t...
