Re: ttyUSB0 FTDI crash

I've got the same exact problem. Have a USB-serial adaptor based on FTDI, as soon as I access the /dev/ttyUSB0 device the whole system locks up and requires a power cycle. Using the recently released "Raspbian" image.

Re: Gertboard vs. Arduino 32-bit Due

That's even more vapour-ware than the RaspPi ;-) The vapor condenses :- http://www.flickr.com/photos/robotgrrl/sets/72157629855444076/ It seems they're pretty far behind schedule...it was supposed to be fully tested and released by the end of 2011 apparently, but they're just now getting prototypes...

Re: Anyone in the US get a ship date from Newark (Element/14

I ordered on March 1st, and they gave me a ship date of May 11th.

On May 29th I got a shipping notification, and a UPS tracking number, which has estimated delivery date of June 5th.

Also, the total charged was $43.07.

Re: Any word from Newark (US/Canada)

I ordered on March 1st, at the time it told me the ship date would be May 11th. On May 29th I got notified that it was shipping, and as of today the UPS tracking number says delivery date is June 5th. I live in California. Hope this helps.
