Installing Mod_ruby on a Pi with Fedora and Apache

I recently took an old RedHat server and ported it to a Raspberry Pi. My Redhat server had been running television applications development for a large Australian broadcaster for some time but had stopped being updated in 2006 when RedHat chnaged their pricing model. Forward to today...I'm porting a...

Re: Raspberry Pi Fedora Remix 17 Final Release Image

I am confused. I installed Fedora on my Pi...but needed certain additional things. I spent a long time locating a repo that would work. There is a repo link in past posts...but the files seem outdated. I have this link.. http://armpkgs.fedoraproject.org/packages/httpd/2.2.22/4.fc17/armv5tel/ which i...

HDMI is sometimes DVI and has odd resolution

Hi, No huge problem but when the Pi boots, the output of the HDMI identifies itself as DVI. HDMI-output@boot_web.jpg Also, the Resolution output doesn't seem to match a specific resolution standard. Odd-Output-Resolution_web.jpg I am not sure if this is the same for all Pi's...or just mine, which is...

Re: USB error attempting to boot using Fedora 17(PHOTOS of P

After looking through those with simlar issues it seems most people have focused on the power and the X1 crystal for USB related issues on boot. I have tested both... Power seems acceptable TP1-to-TP2&Scope_web.jpg Crystal seems good Pi_X1_Ground&Scope_web.jpg So for me...same USB issue (shown below...

USB error attempting to boot using Fedora 17

Anyone know what this means? Smsc95xx ... usb net get endpoints failed -19 I used xzdec to place the nightly f17 pi build on my card. Re: Punnet - a print at home cardboard case

I had a go at putting my Pi in it. First attempt. I cut a Manilla Folder to A4 size then ran it through the printer. Used a swiss army knife to cut it. It fits ok. The audio port and HDMI are out a little in the current Aplha 3 design. I think the Composite Video might be cut a little high. The Ethe...
