Raspberry Pi 4 'full cover' waterblock/Monoblock?

I see that there are small waterblocks available that use 3mm ID tubing, but I'd prefer to cool the whole board at once with a larger block that can accept G1/4 fittings. I found that someone was kind enough to upload CAD files for a 2nd gen Pi monoblock here: https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/view...

Pipe audio input from USB sound card to Bluetooth headphones on 3 B+?

My goal is to send audio from my cable box to Bluetooth headphones using my Pi. I can get it working intermittently in Pulse, but I want to use ALSA instead. I'm able to see the USB input by typing 'arecord -l' in the CLI, but 'aplay -l' doesn't show Bluetooth among the playback devices. Is there a ...

Re: How to pipe audio input from USB sound card to bluetooth headset on a 3B+?

I believe the BlueALSA device name is 'bluealsa'. I think you can have it listed from aplay by editing the ~/.asoundrc file, though I haven't tried that. My Pi is currently out of commission, but in the next day or two I'll try and have a play with this. Seems like a good application. Have you made...

Re: How to pipe audio input from USB sound card to bluetooth headset on a 3B+?

I would begin with a fresh Raspbian Stretch install, and leave PulseAudio out of the equation. Newer versions of Raspbian use BlueALSA to integrate Bluetooth audio streams with ALSA; PulseAudio will conflict with that. You should be able to use ALSA to loop back the USB capture device to the Blueto...

How to pipe audio input from USB sound card to bluetooth headset on a 3B+?

I'm able to somewhat hear a .wma file through VLC on my bluetooth headset. (The audio cuts out every second or two, but it's a start) My goal is to send audio from my cable box to the headset. I'm able to set up the input and output in PulseAudio's Volume Control app, but it isn't showing the audio ...

Re: How to configure Pi 3 B+ as bluetooth audio transmitter?

Update: I tried using ALSA again, and the default configuration plays VLC intermittently on my speaker with a fresh install.

What can I do to make it work better?

Re: How to configure Pi 3 B+ as bluetooth audio transmitter?

Sadly, I do not recall much of my experience with that attempt, I spent most of the night starting over fresh with this guide: https://blog.bluetooth.com/bluez-on-raspberry-pi-update That one involved recompiling the kernel, and it's still not working. >_< Since then I've narrowed down three things ...

How to configure Pi 3 B+ as bluetooth audio transmitter?

Hello all, I'm trying to configure a 3B+ to connect to bluetooth headphones and output audio from from my cable box via a USB sound card. The first problem I'm having is getting the bluetooth working with a receiver. (The headphones are on order so I'm using a speaker while I work out the bugs) The ...

Model 3 B+ chip heights?

I would like to know how tall the two main chips are on the Model 3 B+. (The metal-covered ones)

I ask because I would like to mount a common heatsink across them, but I need to know whether or not I'll need a shim.

Re: Etcher finishing with errors when flashing SD card.

I'm using Windows 10 64-bit. Here's what Etcher says at the end of the console: Oct 30 2017 19:41:23 GMT-0700 (Pacific Daylight Time) Select image ({"path":"C:\\Users\\legen\\Downloads\\UZ\\2017-09-07-raspbian-stretch\\2017-09-07-raspbian-stretch.img","extension":"img","size":{"original":4916019200,...

Re: Etcher finishing with errors when flashing SD card.

I'm using etcher version 1.1.2

My card readers have never had trouble with large cards before, but I bought a new card reader that's SDHC compatible and I'm still getting errors.

I even tried it with a USB stick, and got an error on that too.

Etcher finishing with errors when flashing SD card.

I'm trying to flash the latest Raspbian image, but each time I try Etcher says something went wrong. I've tried the full and lite versions of Stretch, and I've verified that the image checksums match. I've also tried the installer and portable versions of Etcher and I've even tried running them on a...

Re: View all Windows event logs in real-time?

Your suggestion worked wonderfully until my SD card became corrupted last week, now I can't remember how I got it running. My main PC is still using SyslogAgent as it has been. Both my PC and the Pi have static IP addresses and I verified that they're still the same. I've created the additional fold...

View all Windows event logs in real-time?

This seemed to be the best forum to post this, mods may move it if I was mistaken. I would like to set up a dedicated system for displaying forwarded events from my windows computer; as if watching it type its own commands into a console. I know that *nix machines can be made to view Windows' log fi...
