Re: HDMI to CSI-2 via TC358743 on kernel 4.1

If you're using raspivid then it is routing the audio over the csi bus, not i2s. Really, that would be excellent - but now I am really confused. In this thread and several others there was the statement that audio has never been extracted from the B101 rv4. And I have so far not been successful eit...

Re: HDMI to CSI-2 via TC358743 on kernel 4.1

Thanks for the reply - yes I activated all as per the adafruit tutorial. All works as per instructions. Only thing is that I do not get any audio into the wav file at the very end. It is just silent. I connected a HDMI camera with inbuilt microphone and I can record mp4 but no wav or mp4 with sound....

Re: HDMI to CSI-2 via TC358743 on kernel 4.1

6by9 and mikerr orbital6 and all others you made such huge progress with the toshiba kernel. I read above that no one was successful in getting audio out of the auvidea b101 rev 4 from HDMI board into raspberry. unfortunately the auvidea support team is not very helpful. so I had a stab at making it...

Re: I2S/USB Audio input

I also have a Auvidea B101 rev 4 and was hoping to get audio from HDMI board into raspberry. Did anyone succeed yet? Please help us with the GPIO connections. I followed this tutorial and with adafruit everything works fine. https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-i2s-mems-microphone-breakout/raspberry-...

Re: HDMI to CSI-2 via TC358743 on kernel 4.1

I have recently received the Auvidea B101 Rev 4 with audio - The Auvidea guide does not provide much info. Is anyone able to help to find a tutorial to connect the cables to the correct Pi GPIOs and examples on how to receive audio input to eg. ffmpeg or other tools? Thanks!

Re: SSH not responding after a while on Pi Zero & Zero W

I have exactly the same issue. I downloaded Jessie Lite 2/3/2017 and on both Pi3 and Pi ZeroW I can see the device on my network and ping the device, but ssh says Connection refused Permission denied. Going back several Jessie lite releases fixes the problem, but how can I connect to a SD card with ...

mount non Pi Sd card in USB

I am struggling with mounting as well. I want to copy the contents of my GoPro hero 4 black to the Raspberry Pi3 running on latest jessie. dmesg gives me: [23393.418820] usb 1-1.4: new high-speed USB device number 14 using dwc_otg [23393.520030] usb 1-1.4: New USB device found, idVendor=2672, idProd...

Re: Battery and Power switch

Thank you all for this input. I need to first get my head around all this or I might fry my Pi. I hope to not need any specific software scripts running on uboot etc. I also tried the Adafruit Powerboost 1000c solution, https://learn.adafruit.com/7-portable-raspberry-pi-multitouch-tablet/overv...

Re: Battery Powered PI

Would this work with a Pi? I am also looking for a batter powered Pi solution.
What adjustments to this UPS3 would you all recommend (if any?) to make this board work with a Pi?

Battery and Power switch

I am still a beginner when it comes to hardware add-ons for the Pi and programming GPIOs. I have been looking for a good battery and power on/off switch solution for the Pi 3 for months. I found a couple, e.g. Pi Juice or Pi Anywhere, but these projects all seem to be stalling or have their limitati...
