Re: Using a power supply under the recommandation

I'm running it headless but even if it's connected to a screen, no rainbow square until I run Kodi for instance so I guess there is no problem for a headless use :)

Re: Preparing OS for RPI3 on RPI2

That's perfect !

What about migrating my current up-to-date Raspbian that run on my RpiB to the Rpi2 ?
Is it possible ? Is it a bad idea ?

Thanks again, I love my Pi :)

Re: TinyTOSLINK (digital audio output) now for B+, too

Hi Benjamin,

Indeed, it should not be a problem, I haven't thinking that you test all tiny toslinks on the same Pi :)

Thanks for your answer !

Re: Using a power supply under the recommandation

Thanks for your answer, I'm using for more than one year, a power supply of 800mA for my Rpi model B (only 2 usb ports) and I've seen no problem (even if the recommended one is 1.2A). Maybe it's because I'm lucky or because I have only Ethernet and USB key, I don't know. What about using only an USB...

Using a power supply under the recommandation

Hi ! I'm not really a beginner because I'm already happy with 2 Rpi (One B+ and one RPI2). I have read a lot of things on the Internet about the power supply. Here are the official recommandations : https://www.raspberrypi.org/help/faqs/#powerReqs I'd like to know what is the risk if using a power s...

Re: TinyTOSLINK (digital audio output) now for B+, too

Hi Benjamin, I'm thinking about upgrading my Rpi2 to Rpi3 and I don't know if it's a good idea to remove the TinyTOSLINK from Rpi2 to put it on Rpi3. I've seen that I don't need to buy an other box because it's the same board. However, it seems so fragile that I don't want to risk to break it. Do yo...

Preparing OS for RPI3 on RPI2

Hi ! I already own a RPI model B that I use as a server and an RPI 2 that I use as a mediacenter. I added a lot of program on my server (webtrees, apache2, nagios, munin, baikal and so on ...) and I've seen that maybe it's time to use the RPI2 as my server, use the model B only for mopidy and I'd li...

Re: TinyTOSLINK (digital audio output) now for B+, too

Hi All, Did anyone try to use BenjaminKe's or [IDC]Dragon's board on Raspberry Pi 2 B with Raspbian Jessie? I'm having trouble with getting it to work. I don't want to use OpenELEC nor any other distro - I prefer to make it working on clean Raspbian. I added HiFi Berry to device tree and disabled d...

Re: TinyTOSLINK (digital audio output) now for B+, too

Hi Benjamin,

I was browsing the Internet in order to find a way to get TOSLINK on the RPI2 and I've found your topic. Can you tell me more about this device by PM (Shipping Price, Price, is it available for Pi2). I live in France.

Thanks a lot for your awesome work !
