Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

Has anyone successfully installed this onto the latest raspbian stretch lite with a Pi 3 model B? The camera switches on, but I can't access the page on the network. Seems all the packages are missing? This is what I get after running ./install.sh I have successfully installed on latest raspbian st...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

I have a huge problem perhaps somebody out there can help me with. I've been using this great software to shoot lots of video clips and I have just lost a video file for some mysterious reason. The thumbnail jpg is still there in /var/media but the corresponding mp4/h264 file is nowhere to be found...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

Thanks for the advice. I've checked most of those things already. But since my last post I think I may have found the answer. Is anyone here running the latest rpi-update firmware by any chance? I ran it when I updated the web interface, and I first got the problem. So I rolled back to 3ffa1c624ae8...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

Ok ignore what I said about the wifi channel, and about the latest update. I still have a problem it seems. I turned on a camera and left it recording for about 20 minutes. After about 15 minutes it stopped by itself. At this point I can no longer record more than 5 seconds before the camera stops ...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

I just downgraded to .19 and it's fixed again. If someone would like to try and recreate the problem, try switching your wifi channel to 13. This is my only guess right now, because I took it home and tried it on a different network and it was perfect, even with the latest version. On the network I...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

Having problems with the latest update (6.2.23). The problem is the camera stops recording and resets itself (as if I clicked Turn off camera off and on). At first it was seemingly random, but I was reliably causing this to happen at one stage by clicking into a different page (such as Download Vid...

Re: (UPDATE) Drivers for TL-WN725N V2 - 3.6.11+ -> 4.xx.xx+

Thanks MrEngman. I have another 300Mbps 802.11n dongle which I've been using for quite a while. I don't recall ever modifying the pi in regards to WiFi drivers. This one worked straight away. Although I might have wait for LAN before boot enabled? This adapter was also plugged in when I was trying t...

Re: (UPDATE) Drivers for TL-WN725N V2 - 3.6.11+ -> 4.xx.xx+

I am very close to getting this working, but there are still issues. I have a TP-Link T1U AC450 USB adapter, so from what I've read on here I should be installing mt7610-4.4.38-v7-938.tar.gz on 4.4.38-v7+ #938 SMP Thu Dec 15 15:22:21 GMT 2016 armv7l GNU/Linux Which installs fine and when I reboot I ...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

Does anyone know why, when recording videos and watching the video preview, I get a green hue on the right side of my video? I didn't notice it before because I was shooting in 1080p, but now that I'm using the full sensor with 1296x972, I can see that on the right edge of the image, only in dark ar...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

Trying out v2 camera module and manually changed still resolution in web interface to 3280 x 2464 without any problems taking stills inc timelapse and changed Image quality from 10 to 100 without issue, other than file size. I did a rpi-update to correct image flip and to see what happens with vide...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

Thanks btidey, I'll run some more tests and reset my settings and see how I go. On a side note, does anyone know if there's a way of specifying auto white balance gain? It's the only other manual control I need. I see the option there to turn it off, but it defaults to a weird level (where everythi...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

Hi guys, I'm trying to figure out how the brightness of my shot changes depending on the initial light levels when the camera is switched on. I've tried setting the shutter speed at "50000", exposure to "off", ISO to "100". It doesn't change throughout the shot which is good, but every time I switc...
