Re: New Open GL Driver, Bug report thread

So I enabled the driver and tried the test h.264 video.

Everything was green and video moved at a very slow FPS.

Very gltichy.

Unable to apt-get update

It's a fresh install of NOOBS and Raspbian.
I enter this in the terminal:

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get update
It says method driver could not be found, told me to install apt-transport-https.

I try to:

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get install apt-transport-https
but it gives me the same error message as above.

Re: PINN - An enhanced version of NOOBS.

How is this better than berryboot?

The main issue with multi boot RPi is the lack of OS choices.

For example berryboot has retropie but not ubuntu MATE and osmc. NOOBS has osmc and raspbian but not UMATE and retropie.

I know this has to do with support but to me that's the main issue.

Re: Introduce yourself!

Hi guys, Max here!

Looking to use the Raspberry Pi as a learning tool to really be proficient at Linux, exploring the world of Linux, and making it a home for me.

I am also using it as a spare computer to multitask and coding with it. :D

Looking forward to reading and learning!

Re: Jessie Q&A

Hi, I'm new to Linux and want to be proficient using the Linux terminal. Is it smart to use Debian documentation to aide and reference my learning of Raspbian? It's basically the same OS right? The Raspbian website is kinda bare bones. ;) Yes, Raspbian Jessie is Debian Jessie compiled for ARMv6 HF....
