Unexpected error

On my pi3, the various tests pass, but actually running the voice recogniser fails with the following messages. All wisdom and insights welcome. I hadn't appreciated how much hoop-jumping there would be on the Google Cloud Platform front. It's not for the feint hearted. [m] [2017-05-07 18:13:20,417]...

Same here Bilbo. It seems that the various tests pass, but actually running the voice recogniser fails. I hadn't appreciated how much hoop-jumping there would be on the Google Cloud Platform front. dbus module on Python3

I've got code for calling omxplayer from Python which requires the dbus module.

I've located dbus-python 1.2.4 but when I try to install it I'm told "cannot find python2.7-config of python-config in PATH"

I'm using Python 3. What am I missing for installing this in Py3 ?

Re: Module not found :(

Yep. I'm on it.

Trying to work out how to do it from the helps on the new libraries rather than use the old code examples.

Re: Module not found :(

Thanks for the "sudo dpkg -l" … it turns out that it wasn't installed. Surprise! I'd found the command "apt-cache search httpurl" — which has it listed… but now I know that's not he server rather than on my Pi. <penny drops> I've now installed httpurl2 and urllib3 — but I'm now getting… File "/home/...

Module not found :(

I'm working on temperature logging to Sparkfun's Phant.io data-logging-thingy. I'm basing my effort on the code found here… https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/pushing-data-to-datasparkfuncom/raspberry-pi-python When I try to run my code I get a python error saying "ImportError: No module named 'ht...
