Mounting squashfs as Root

Hi everybody, I'm currently trying to make my raspbian boot from a squashFS image through initramfs. Unfortunately I'm stuck at mounting the SquashFS. I tried mounting through mount -o loop , but I always get "mounting /dev/loop0 on /mnt/root failed: No such device" This is my init so far: #!/bin/bu...

Can you tell us about the current state of this case?
Are there any new Design Prototypes (especially regarding the HDD Bay)

Re: Stealth Nighthawk F-117A TVDongle

There are lots of devices like that, most with better hardware specs. Google "android tv stick". They will run other flavours of linux too. That's true, but there aren't any devices with the Raspberry Pi CPU and GPU yet. Hmmm, so you haven't heard of the Roku 2? It uses the same broadcom chip. I'm ...

Wow, that looks really great.
Hopefully this becomes reality, as it would be the perfect MediaCenter Case. How about a black nobel finish?

Re: RaspCar (my RC Project)

Okay some more Details :) I used an Arduino Uno with Motorshield to drive the Motors. The RaspberryPi communicates with the Arduino using a serial UART Connection. I also needed to adjust the Voltage because the Arduino uses 5V. Therefore I used a CD4050 Chip to convert voltages. The Communication w...

Sorry for bringing this up again,
but isn't there a problem using 3.3V Raspberry Pi? How did you manage to controll the motor shield?

Re: how to set up rTorren, etc?

I think the issue is related to openelec. I used rtorrent on raspbian and it worked.
Although I don't recommend rtorrent because it uses a LOT of ram. Your pi will stay unresponsive for seconds before updating the torrent status.

Re: Instructions for building XBMC for Raspbian

My MCE worked OOB with XBMC. I have to add some hotkeys to powerdown my HDD, but functions as play/pause/stop and arrow keys work without any reconfiguration! Do you have any additional modules loaded or should MCE be supported by kernel? I had it working with both raspbmc and openelec... Cheers Jo...

Hi,

how did you connect your engines to the pi? Did you just connect the Pi to the remote or to the engine-Controller directly?
I'm gonna build something similar, but want to attach a cam and do some basic AR tasks.

For learning purpose (OpenGL or GL ES) I recommend using "Glut" because it does the whole OpenGL Setup for you.

Did you make any progress on that? I recently thought about using my pi as a timecapsule too, but after i set up netatalk I could connect because of an "incorrect Version"
