Cross compilation is an option.

I use Visual Studio 2017, im sure that you can google how to set up your VS in case you decide to use it.
Do you have a good guide for this?

Re: [Stretch/Buster] Using LIRC with kernel 4.19.X and gpio-ir

OK thanks.

I set /etc/lirc/lirc_options.conf:

Code: Select all

driver = default
device = /dev/lirc0
I notice that I can only receive with lirc1. Does that mean I transmit with lirc0 and receive with lirc1?

Re: [Stretch/Buster] Using LIRC with kernel 4.19.X and gpio-ir

I'm getting two lirc entries in /dev, /dev/lirc0 and /dev/lirc1. I'm able to read remotes on /dev/lirc1 using mode2 and haven't tried transmitting yet. Most instructions online mention only /dev/lirc0. Is that normal or something wrong with my setup? Do I transmit with lirc0 and receive with lirc1? ...

Re: Problem with Wireless Network Adapter Ralink MT7601U

My MT7601U didn't work with Raspbian Stretch 4.9 kernel. The kernel files were pre-installed in /lib/firmware/. This is the solution for me: See mrgromov's post in: https://github.com/kuba-moo/mt7601u/issues/64 My nonane black-red 148f:7601 mt7601u mini stick is working now! Tested on Ubuntu 14.04 (...

B+ GPIO16 high on boot

I have a B+ with Raspbian Jessie. After I reboot, the pin (GPIO 16, Physical pin 36) is on HIGH and lights a connected LED. I can then turn the LED on and off with a python script. According to the BCM2835 Peripherals documentation, the power-on state is LOW for that pin. Is everyone's GPIO16 HIGH o...
