so to add, I don't want to use a frame work cause I prefer the deeper end (also I dabled with twisted and it did not really work out).

Advice: Python IRC Bot

Hey guys, I am building an IRC bot in python. This is more a project for me to learn python. What I wanted to do is for now when I say 'bot: hello' it would respond (thats the simple command I planned). Of course I want to add more commands so I don't want to have everything in one file but rather m...

Sorry to butt into your question. But I also have a HL2030 and wondered what driver you used etc. I have having similar issues where you send a print but nothing happens?

Can I Teach my 4 Year Old to Program?

I wrote in my blog about the possibilty of teaching my 4 year old daughter how to program. Now I admit I am not going to have her coding on a pi next week but I thought I could see if there was any way (likely with games) to promote that kinda analytical thinking needed for programming. Step one was...

HDMI Eithernet working? [Solved]

I bought a new HDMI cable for my PI and I just got what ever said highspeed and was cheap.

I got home and tried it but nothing is loading (Composite is working).

I checked the cable again and it said 'With Eithernet'?!?!

Has anyone experienced anything similar
