Re: Internet connection problem

Hi, Sorry, I'm not an expert. Do you have a router on eth0 ? Or both your PI and computer have fixed IP ? If both have fixed IP you should probably remove these lines : static routers=192.168.1.1 static domain_name_servers=192.168.1.1 All the pi need is a static IP. If you do have a router on this ...

Internet connection problem

Hello, I have just installed the last image of raspbian (June 2018) on a Raspberry PI 3 B. my "/etc/dhcpcd.conf" file look like this: interface eth0 static ip_address=192.168.1.199/24 static routers=192.168.1.1 static domain_name_servers=192.168.1.1 interface wlan0 static ip_address=192.168.0.199/24...

Re: Official V4L2 driver

Hello, I'm having the same problem as racer993, I can't remove auto white balance, and if I pick the frames from the v4l2 buffer when overlay is active the frames are completely black. Exist any way to remove (also completely) the auto white balance setting, so I can at least do a manual white bala...

Yellow shade stream

Hello, I'm using a v4l2 driver to capture a stream and trying to analyze it on time, but also after setting dynamic auto exposure, it seems that at the begin the photos have a yellow shade and after some photos they become normals. Which setting can I change or add to completely remove the yellow sh...

Re: Photo exposure

You did not tell how you get the image from the v4l2 device, but I would take a look at v4l2-ctl --set-ctrl=exposure_dynamic_framerate=1 to enable dynamic frame rate. Your exposure time is limited by the framerate if you do not use it. I use a c++ code with v4l2 declaration like V4L2_CID_EXPOSURE

Photo exposure

Hello everybody, I am trying to do a stream capture using v4l2 driver, but the photo taken from the stream are darker and blurry, I tried to increase the brightness but is just like every pixel become more white (always a bad quality). Down there two images of the same subject with the same brightne...

Re: Get frames 15 fps from pi camera module

hello jbeale Are you using the picamera library? Does this link give you any useful information? http://picamera.readthedocs.org/en/release-1.10/recipes1.html#capturing-to-an-opencv-object before I was using this code from Adrian Rosebrock.: camera = PiCamera() camera.resolution = tuple(conf["resolu...

Re: Get frames 15 fps from pi camera module

You don't say what resolution you want, but V4L2 can certainly deliver what you want sudo modprobe bcm2835-v4l2 max_video_width=2592 max_video_height=1944 v4l2-ctl --set-fmt-video=width=2592,height=1944,pixelformat=I420 v4l2-ctl -p 15 v4l2-ctl --stream-mmap=3 --stream-count=1000 --stream-to=/dev/nu...

Get frames 15 fps from pi camera module

Hello everybody, I recently began working with Raspberry PI 2 and the Pi Camera Module, and I am trying to get the frame from the camera and made basic analyse over the frame with opencv (the operations aren't complex and doesn't need big amount of time), I followed a guide to get and analyze the fr...
