Re: IR LED illumination power

RPI_CAMERA_INFRARED01.jpg
Ah, finally found the answer myself.
For anyone else interested, I've attached a photo, +3.3v at the LDR end, 0v at the adjustment end.

IR LED illumination power

s-l400.jpg I want to use the NOIR camera module for night vision, but would rather power some IR LEDs separately than draw power directly from the camera module. I have the IR LEDS, the ones that would typically screw directly to either side of the camera module. However, nowhere can I find the pol...

Re: Using the inbuilt Jessie SDcard copier

I haven't a second reader, unfortunately. It would be good to try one though.
All I can say is the card reader works fine under Windows, reads, writes, formats, deletes and creates partitions. I'm sure at the end of the day it will be an obvious solution.

Using the inbuilt Jessie SDcard copier

I'm sure the utility works as described on the Rpi wesite, but I can't get it to function. The instructions seem easy enough, but each time I get the message "unable to create file system" on the SDcard in a USB adapter on the Rpi2. I've tried a new SDcard without any utility being run on it.... Tri...

Re: Rpi usb memory stick copier

Can you suggest why I can't use the existing USB ports? For other reasons, I've been able to read files from a USB stick, and also write files to a USB stick, both in the RPi ports directly. At any one time, the requirement is to plug in a microSD card into a USB adapter, read all files on that card...

Rpi usb memory stick copier

Not sure if this is the right place for this question, but........ I need a small portable unit that could be used to copy files from a micro SD card ( in a usb adapter) onto a standard usb memory stick. This sounds like an ideal project for my RPi, but I'm not sure where to start. Has anyone done a...

Remote SSH and RDP with MobaXterm

I have MobaXterm installed on my Windows 10 pc to remotely access my Raspberry pi. It works in that I can open a SSH terminal window, but when I try to open a remote display window, it opens, but only shows a giant raspberry logo that fills the window (presumable the rest on the display is off scree...
