Re: import RPi.GPIO as GPIO RuntimeError

The development version got our DiddyBorg up and running with the picamera module again.

Thanks :D

Re: Cheap motion/acceleration add-on

Hi people, Looking through the datasheet for the magnetometer, it would seem that each board needs a zero offset correction to be applied which would correct for the local environment (e.g. influence of nearby components, the Raspbery Pi, et cetera). If zero is in the wrong place the maths will like...

Re: Can the picoBorg control 3 dc 4v 2amp motors

Hi
The picoBorg can control 3x 4V, 2A motors, but in one direction only. It works like a switch on/off with the exception of M2 which can be PWM controlled (something similar to speed control)
Hope this helps

Re: PS3 Controller and the PI

Hi! I updated raspbian and "sixad" don't works now. With "make" again the problem is the same. Sixad says: sixad-bin[3714]: unable to connect to sdp session That never happened before :-(. I tried to find some info about the "sdp session" on debian and at all i didn't got any conclusion. Cheking ol...

Re: Competing programs

Hi

In the usage section http://www.piborg.org/ledborg/install#usage, there is a Managing boot options - and then a To stop LedBorg from auto-loading from a terminal type: section.

To stop LedBorg from auto-loading from a terminal type:

Code: Select all

sudo update-rc.d ledborg.sh remove
Hope this helps.

Re: RGB LED strips????

Not a strip, but LedBorg www.piborg.org/ledborg will control a RGB LED. The driver does software based PWM of three I/O lines - you could adapt the software to control a LED strip if you like! (It's all open source)

Re: Visability of a potential project.

PiBorgs can be pre-ordered now at http://www.piborg.org/preorders , we expect to be dispatching them around the 9th August. :D There are two solenoid drives per board, they should be perfectly capable of driving hydraulics. If you have any questions relating to either capabilities or ideas for using...

Re: Controlling 2 DC motors

The PiBorg motion control add on board controls 2 DC motors and 2 solenoids (you can daisy chain them if you need more). This uses PWM control and has inbuilt QEI units for encoder feedback. This allows real servo control where you can accurately control position, velocity or torque. Info about it i...
