Or rewrite your python program to use GPIOzero (which doesn't need sudo or gksudo).
Tried to install gpiozero with both sudo and gksudo without sucsess. see below
(spidev had the same issue)

Or is there another way to rewrite python? (trough VNC)

I'm also moving on and having issues loading spidev. I've gone through the steps as described at the beginning of this thread and the package "python-dev" did load, because trying a second time it did say "already installed". Added the "dtparam=spi=on" to the "conig.txt" file, but still I'm getting ...

I'm new to RPI 2 and have simmelar question. I've setup my RPI with VCN as described in my living room and was able to open, edit and run existing ,py scripts from my desktop using VCN. Regarding SourceForge i'm a burnt kid. The last time I downloaded something from SourceForge and switched off the virus protection to load it, it took me 3 days and a clean install to get rid of it. It's very aggressive.

installing Raspbian .img onto SD?

Is there another way to get the Raspbian image onto an SD other than using Win32Image Writer app.
The issue is that ImageWriter is only available through SourceForge and Sourceforge is packing malware in the installer.
