Re: prevent throttling on undervoltage

just added a 3300uF capacitor between pin2 and 6 of the 40pin header. that prevents the voltage drop.
Thanks for pointing that out.

here is the page of programmer: https://github.com/rbrito/usbmount code is not part of the distribution. you can build your own bugfixing .deb package and install it: cd /tmp git clone https://github.com/rbrito/usbmount.git cd usbmount dpkg-buildpackage -us -uc -b cd .. apt install ./usbmount_0.0.24...

according to this discussion https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=855203 I've setup my ds3231 as follows: add this single entry to /boot/config.sys dtoverlay=i2c-rtc,ds3231 create the file /etc/systemd/system/hwclock-start.service [Unit] Description=hwclock-start to read rtc and write t...

currently I'm using:

Re: prevent throttling on undervoltage

The powersupply has 50W!! also a capacitor is connected to the motor as "charge pump".
The undervoltage throttleing is to quick. A hystereresis (e.g. delayed undervoltage alert) is required

how to detect HW RTC on addr 0x68

How can I detect in a script if a RTC (like DS3231..) is connected on i2c addr. 0x68.
I want to replace "i2c-detect -y 1" and carving out "UU" or "68".

prevent throttling on undervoltage

my pi4 switches motors on and off. The pi is backpowered to a 50W powersupply. If a motor is switched on, I get this warnings (under-voltage has occurred, throttling has occurred). Due to the throttling the PID algorithm and in the specific application log I can see that the processor runs slower, w...

Re: GPIO 1sec High at Boot and Poweroff How to?

Thanks that helps for the beep at startup. How is the chronology? You wrote that config.txt gpio command will be loaded very early. When is the eeprom (HAT) loaded and executed? Is there a documentation how the GPIO pins will be initialized, facing the chronology. Let's assume that I set in config.t...

GPIO 1sec High at Boot and Poweroff How to?

Hi, I have a Beeper connected to GPIO4 (default PullUp) via a transistor. Driving the GPIO 1sec High, the Beeper is active. Everything works out of an application. Due to the fact that GPIO4 has PullUp, the Beeper beeps until EEprom from HAT sets GPIO4 to Output LOW. This takes about 5secs. On Shutd...

generic SPI overlay

I have a SPI based pwm LED chip. at powerup/boot the pwm chip put 50% dutycycle on the channel. I want to have an overlay which can issue a init sequence (several registers of the chip had to be configured/wiped-out) to reset the chip at a very early timepoint during the poweron sequence.
any ideas?

wonderfull, thanks for this enhancement. Is that in the official overlay? because it's already documented: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/raspberrypi/firmware/master/boot/overlays/README described in section gpio-shutdown: debounce Specify the debounce interval in milliseconds (default 100)

enhance shutdown overlay

Hello, currently I'm using a shell script (see below), that runs in the background and observe an active low signal (by a switch to ground). If the low signal is longer than 3 seconds, the script will initiate a shutdown. I want to get rid of this script and want to use the shutdown overlay. But thi...
