Re: enhance shutdown overlay

wonderfull, thanks for this enhancement. Is that in the official overlay? because it's already documented: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/raspberrypi/firmware/master/boot/overlays/README described in section gpio-shutdown: debounce Specify the debounce interval in milliseconds (default 100)

enhance shutdown overlay

Hello, currently I'm using a shell script (see below), that runs in the background and observe an active low signal (by a switch to ground). If the low signal is longer than 3 seconds, the script will initiate a shutdown. I want to get rid of this script and want to use the shutdown overlay. But thi...

Re: Rapberry pi 4 IO memory base address

cat /proc/iomem | grep gpio@ produces the following output on different plattforms: rpi4: fe200000-fe2000b3 : gpio@7e200000 rpi2-3x: 3f200000-3f2000b3 : gpio@7e200000 zerow: 20200000-202000b3 : gpio@7e200000 e.g. just subtract the GPIO-BaseAddr 0x00200000 from fe200000 or 3f200000 or 20200000 and yo...

Re: Access point on 3B+ without a WiFi adaptor?

I think that's not working. The link will describe AP mode on wlan0 device and on eth0 (ethernet port) internet access.
both adapters are bridged.
What's asked is AP function and internet connection on same wlan adaptor.

Re: Pi 3 as wiireless client and wireless AP?

mybe you will find that script useful: https://github.com/rudiratlos/hotspot/blob/master/hotspot but with recent raspian OS, I couldn't get ap&client function to work on same wlan device. I'm using internal wlan apapter for ap and eth0 or an additional optional wlan adapter for internet connection.

Re: 128x160 tft display

I'm using the same display with fbtft. It's a framebuffer /dev/fb1 where you can pass an orientation (like 270 degrees).
No need for direct access the hardware registers for the display itself.

Re: Raspberry pi 3 B+ as Access Point and Wifi client

Will this support simultaneous use of hotspot and wifi client? Some posts say you must choose a hotspot frequency that's the same as what the client uses. But, I think I read your script uses one based on the least congesting frequency band? Does that impact the reliability of the client connection...

Re: B+ as 5GHz and 2.4GHz wifi access point

Does anyone has a solution for my hotspot script https://github.com/rudiratlos/hotspot ? I tried to extend it with the functionality that the hotspot (device ap0) is activ in parallel on the same adpater (wlan0) to a wlan connection (wpa_supplicant). I want to implement it for 2.4GHz and 5GHz (hwmod...
