Re: Howto: Raspi HAT EEPROM and device-tree

Nice post! I just have one question... about the JSON file, how do you actually access it later? Will the content be readable somewhere? Once I get home I'll do some tests, but it seems to be exactly what I need to set some GPIOs states at the boot time. I've couple of GPIOs connected to "reset" pin...

Re: HAT-board-mechanical in DXF format PLEASE

Yes, I had to reduce a bit the SMD pads for the 40p header to keep it within the PCB shop clearance. My opinion is that RPI itself is not the most friendly board for adding HATs/Shields. The fact it has headers on a single side as well forces to add use some sort of support on the opposite side. Oth...

Re: HAT-board-mechanical in DXF format PLEASE

The 0.5 is because of SMD pads for the header connector. If you use TH header you can take the 0.5 off from that side. I'll try to find whete I see the comment about that and post the link here. Here the link: https://github.com/raspberrypi/hats/blob/master/hat-board-mechanical.pdf just download it ...

Re: Interface w/ RFM69W wireless module via SPI?

There is a new project called Talk² which should help solving not only that but other kinds of communication barriers between RPI, Micro-controllers and the Internet itself. It's based on CAN Bus, which is already very popular and stable for RPI, but also includes a RF gateway/virtual Bus using RFM6...

Re: HAT-board-mechanical in DXF format PLEASE

I've used the PDF to produce this Solidworks sketch and the exported DWX... There's no measures for the PCB 40 pin connector, so I got the size from the connector used on the Sense HAT (http://suddendocs.samtec.com/catalog_english/hle.pdf) Sorry, I've attached it as ZIP because the forum doesn't all...
