Has any SDXC SD cards with A2 rating been tested with PI 3+?

Just came across a SanDisk Extreme Pro SDXC UHS-I U3 A2 V30 256GB SD card on Amazon, it is the first card I've seen with the A2 rating. Has anyone bench marked any of these new SD cards?

Re: Trying to download raspbian full

A server that serves the complete Raspbian image is something different from servers that service repositories for Raspbian. split off this thread from a thread about repository server mirrors, as the OP confused these two subjects. Might have been me, I did not realize image servers were separate ...

Re: Need a case, heatsinks and fan. Also "is this a bad case?"

My 'Case' learning experience just happened last night: Trying to remove the SD card I used a pin to pull it from the NONE REJECTING SD card holder. When I tried to format the SD card it said it was 'Write Protected' which is the same as being junk. Next I decided to remove the PI from the case, I d...

Arrow and Del keys not working

For two new Users I added, every time I press an arrowkey I get newlines with A, B, C and D's, Del key ^[[3~, but the PI user everything is good.
Is there a script to download all the extras from the complete Raspbian Stretch? I need a way to add uses that works.

Re: Can I use a 5 Volt 3 Amp power supply for my RPi2?

The danger in a high powered PSU--and let me note that a 3A unit does *not* rise to the level I'm talking about--is that any momentary problem has the potential to put far too much current to handle through the board. You should be just fine with a 3A supply, as that is only 500mA over the maximum ...

The WIFI connection information is here: /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf Thanks for the pointer to "/etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf" Had to use the terminal to change the name of the SSID since the GUI lacks the ability to SU an application. RPI3+ 4.14.y OS SSID won't switch

Purchased a new router with 5GHz AC and configured it with SSID as dlink to start with and the RPI3+ logged in without an issue. Found out I could name each protocol (g/n or AC) a different SSID but when I did, dlink-5ghz and dlink-24ghz the RPI3+ will not connect. It shows the SSID's and takes the ...

Re: About Raspberry Pi power and Powered USB hub device

Just powered up my Pi 3 B+ and got the lighting bolt, I had built a 12V 5AMP to 5 Volt 3 AMP supply but I've put it somewhere safe which means I've miss-placed it, I just ordered a new supply. On a project we built we ended up using an USB type C connector for the current needed since the micro A/B ...

Has anyone tried the latest generation of Pi's?

I have a USB voltage/amp device that shows the PI Zero W at 20ma, no SD. My PI 3 with Logitech K400+ receiver and HDMI connected is at 307ma.

Re: microSD card max size

@andrum99 you're right, I did mean exFAT and I just checked what 'TYPE' of format Windows 10 does, there is no FAT32, just FAT, exFAT, NTSF. I agree with your assessment that it would take time and money to get the firmware to read exFAT and that the the current solution of flashing an image works. ...
