Can Raspberry Pi 3 Model B or Zero W be sold in Australia?

Hi

I can't seem to find RCM certification for 3 Model B or Zero W. Isn't it required for the devices to be sold in Australia? Yet, RS and others are still selling them.

Any thought appreciated.

Re: RPi Zero's FCC ID missing

It does have an FCC id. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=raspberry+fcc+id The RPi 3 Model B has one (2ABCB-RPI32). I can't find RPi Zero's. It's a Class B device since it has an onboard radio is sold to residential users. Why do you think equipment manufactured in UK/Europe and PRC needs to have e...

RPi Zero's FCC ID missing

Hi

It's said that the RPi Zero passed FCC Part 15 "comfortably". How come there's no FCC ID printed on the board? Does it even have a FCC ID?

Re: RPI 1 FCC ID

From: http://answers.google.com/answers/threadview/id/526221.html As far as I recall this all comes about because in the earlier days of The Pi it was never imagined it would sell in such huge quantities. It was considered to be a development board, a component, not a consumer product. In fact, acc...

Re: RPI 1 FCC ID

Raspberry Pi Model B (up to v2.0) and Raspberry Pi Model A are Class A devices. Class A devices do not require FCC verification of the test results, merely verification of compliance. Raspberry Pi Model B v2.1 is a Class B device. All subsequent models are Class B devices. I see. But how come the e...

This is public information. For example:

Presuming you meant 2ABCB-RPI32, isn't it RPi3's?

RPI 1 FCC ID

Hi Is it right that RPI 1 does not have a FCC ID? There's the FCC logo on the board, but I can't find an ID. RPI 1 doesn't seem to be listed on OET either: http://i.imgur.com/uQvWfTD.png If it was to be incorporated in a commercial device, how should the EMC test be undertaken if RPI1 itself isn't a...

USB RC522 MIFARE card reader

Hi

Does anyone know if a USB RC522 Mifare card reader like this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/USB-HF-RFID-ID- ... 1114334958 would work on the rpi? Has anyone used this reader before?

Thanks

Sound capturing on RPi for OS X to record

Hi I'm hoping to record about 120GB of audio from a mic (setup on a RPi). I have about 1TB of network storage available, but the host is running OS X. I see that aplay could do the job only if the remote server is running Linux ("arecord -D plughw:1,0 -f dat | ssh -C user@remoteip aplay -f dat). AFA...
