Re: MagPi 69 3D Printing w/R-Pi and OctoPrint article

Hi

Has someone tried to run his 3D Printer with Klipper firmware?
Was there a real improvement in speed and print quality?

Thanks

Re: DietPi | Minimal Raspbian. Optional "ready to run" softw

I get this problem every day. http://mirrordirector.raspbian.org is extremely slow, unreliable and unstable. I'd like to create a apt mirror on http://dietpi.com to prevent this, but our current server (kindly provided by Pilovali) is due to expire in 3 months and the "cheaper" one to replace it wi...

Re: RTSP Streaming audio/video

The fastest way to do RTSP with gstreamer is with gst-rtsp-server/examples/test-launch, but it's not in raspbian repos. You can also try something I built for that purpose: https://github.com/anmar/rpirtspd It' basically uses rpicamsrc and alsasrc as sources and creates a rtsp server with 3 streams...

Re: UV4L No Limits! 720p HW-encoded H264 is now on the Web!

In Mozilla Firefox. There are no such problems I 1. If you select 720p, and click Go, codec error. When you first click Go, and then select 720p works. 2. The full window mode, the video looks like a square on a black rectangle. Who does not have access to send a photo, I try to send in the next co...

Re: Foundation Camera Board information

If it was me voting and someone else doing the work, I'd prefer bigger pixels for better light sensitivity, over increased resolution. However no doubt that costs more, involves more work and I'm 0.0000000001% of the market so I don't think I get a vote :-)

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

To make it work I set the subdirectory in the install to html to make it compatible with the Apache default. I then edited the /etc/passwd file www-data:x:33:33:www-data::/usr/sbin/nologin changed to www-data:x:33:33:www-data:/var/www:/bin/bash Hi, I tried this but when starting it to run, it comen...

Re: RPi Cam Web Interface

Thank you for that tip. Just one more thing I have just loaded the new Debian Jessie and want to try that with RPi Cam Web. I assume that will work on the Rpis B, B+ and 2. I'm not sure if that combination works. Raspimjpeg makes use of the officially added tools/kernel drivers in raspbian for the ...
