you also need to add the following to the sudoers file..


www-data ALL=(ALL) NOPASSWD: ALL

hi just browse to /var/www and do the following


sudo wget https://github.com/Bioshox/Raspcontrol/zipball/master
sudo unzip master
sudo mv Bioshox-Raspcontrol-* raspcontrol
sudo rm master

that will install it for u

can this update be added on to github please so we can update straight from the script below?

sudo rm -r raspcontrol
sudo wget https://github.com/Bioshox/Raspcontrol/zipball/master
sudo unzip master
sudo mv Bioshox-Raspcontrol-* raspcontrol
sudo rm master

I'd have to guess that it's because visudo isn't working for some reason. Can you type "sudo visudo" Then scroll to the bottom of the file and on the last line add: www-data ALL=(ALL) NOPASSWD: ALL All the reboot button is, is a fancy interface for the command "sudo reboot" so it's nothing complex ...

I dont suppose you can also answer why Im unable to reboot the pi from raspcontrol? I get a pop up saying its going to reboot but nothing actually happens!

Hi I have followed the instructions and can browse to the raspcontrol page but when I go to setup.php and try to create a user it says "cannot open file" Any ideas? Hi I'm trying to get this running on a lighttpd server except I get the same error as urfankhaliq above 'can't open file' after trying...

The reboot button doesnt seem to do anything for me? a popup appears saying rebooting and I click OK but then it doesnt actually reboot?

Is that the case for others too?

since updating my raspcontrol the memory usage is showing 93% used with very little free memory!?

Its not doing much other then a couple of files shares that are not even being accessed at this time

Any one else experience this?

OK thanks. I thought there might be an automated way of updating the files. I think I downloaded the zip on my Mac and then copied them onto the pi via a samba share then ssh'd onto the pi and copied them from the samba share to the correct folder

long winded but the only way i knew how to! lol

Have you added www-data to your Sudoers list?? (sudo visudo) That's what was missing lol. My bad for not reading the instructions properly! Lol When you click update sources or update firmware does it give you any progress indicator? I love the idea of managing it via web page makes it easy to keep...
