Looking at the R1.0 Schematics I see that TP1/TP2 are "inside" the fuse protecting the +5 incoming line from the micro-USB power connection. I had read in a post about a power supply project to power the Pi only via TP1/TP2 instead of the GPIO pins, and this doesn't make sense after reading the sche...
