Re: PiKrellCam: motion vector detect + OSD web interface

Timelapse fails if there are missing files in the sequence or files with size 0 Hi, since I often had short timelapse videos I analyzed the problem: avconv doesn't like files with 0 size or missing files in a sequence. I modified the old timelapse-end script to 1. delete timelapse files with size 0...

Some thoughts about security: 1. the .htpasswd shouldn't reside inside the www root auth_basic_user_file /home/pi/pikrellcam/www/.htpasswd; 2. the access to the .htpasswd should be denied by nginx configuration: # deny access to .ht* files, if Apache's document root # concurs with nginx's one # loca...

Hello, got it running, attached the patches against actual version 2.0.4. patches.zip Stream runs now for several hours in full hd, a real live stream :-) , delay ~ 1 sec, cpu load ~10% on a 4 core pi2. No side effects seen on live preview, motion and all the other features. Br Tom Thanks for this!...

I've not had time yet to try this, but I hope to get to it. It would be a nice feature so if you come up with code changes, please continue to post them. I wonder whether it would be possible to make a h264 preview stream instead of mjpeg?
Benefit would be a high preview quality.
Any Ideas how to achieve this?

Re: PiKrellCam: motion vector detect + OSD web interface

Actually, from early on I've had in mind integrating servo controls into pikrellcam. I have built my boards for that (12v-5v DC-DC and gpios 18 and 13 for servos and one stepper) but haven't yet started the pikrellcam software module. Ultimately what I have in mind is: 1) Manual servo controls like...
