Re: Raspberry Pi Z wWLan modules with defective HDMI?

How can you say it's defective? Which test did you make and what's your HW configuration?

The only thing I can say is: your timing is wrong.

What's wrong? You need to data sheet for answering this. Do you have the part number of the display at least?

Re: Raspberry Zero USB connection Lost and don't detected again in Linux OS As USB Devices

You are using a display with touch with the touch connected to USB port; is this correct understanding?

A Pi Zero can either be Host or Device, means with the touch connected/configured you are no longer able to make use of USB gadget mode.

Re: Connect 40 pin 2.4" TFT to Pi Zero w

No of pins gives not information to anybody, so it's meaningless to mention. You need ti start with your displays data sheet. Search the web for it. In case you can find it look for the interface type(s) available. Most likely it's SPI and/or DPI. In that case you might be able to connect it. But .....

Your boot partition is too small. I've used 'gparted' to reduce the size of the second partition and then increased the first of the first one.
Be warned: may take a while

Re: Multiple Frame buffer beta testers wanted

Hi Jamesh, I join forces with aBUGS. It would be great to have an update on this as it really would be an amazing feature for many projects. All the best! Ok, we are a bit delayed on this, and it's looking like we may be moving to a (F)KMS/DRM based system - ie the new MESA 3D driver. This combines...

Re: Triple Monitor Support + Computer Replacement

The Pi can only run one monitor (framebuffer) at the moment. There was a beta testing for multi framebuffer (multi = dual) with the details available here https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=63&t=216399 This demonstrates that it's possible to run two displays from a single Pi. Re: display inverted! how do I fix?

HDMI problem? There is no problem! There is only one display supported atm.
As said, some work is done to allow for two displays, but it's not released yet.

Until this has happened you can either use HDMI or DSI display.

Re: using both dpi and i2s on bank 0

Look here for DPI details https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/hardware/raspberrypi/dpi/README.md As you can see from the mode table I2S is in using GPIO which are used for green in DPI mode. So, if you're fine with loosing tons of color information you can write your own overlay for DPI+I2S Bu...

Re: Can the Raspberry Pi GPIO Pins be expanded?

For PWM output you should have a look at I2C PWM controllers.
For analog inputs you could use I2C ADC (i.e. ADS124S06IRHBT from TI which has 6 channels)

Re: usb1-port1: disabled by hub (EMI?), re-enabling

Sorry, but there's either something wrong in your block diagram or your description! Your block diagram shows a 5V supply which is powering the whole unit ; 3.3V and 1.8V are also generated from this 5V rail. USB hub is connected to this rail as well. This 5V rail is able to supply 3.5A. Now you say...

Re: Using a Pi0 as secondary display?

What do you want ro achieve? Sorry, but that's not clear to me. You can run a VNC server on one of them and then access the desktop from the other. There is also a beta test for multi framebuffer but it's currently not supported by PI 0. Anyhow, you can connect to the 'second destop' of a RPI 3 via ...

You did not mention to which Pi. Sure, you can connect multiple USB cameras and one CSI camera to a standard Pi. There are - quite expensive - multiplexers which allow you to connect to 2 CSI cameras https://ivmech.com/magaza/en/development-modules-c-4/ivport-raspberry-pi-camera-module-multiplexer-p...

Your GND goes to GPIO4🤔 Refer to https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/usage/gpio/README.md for GPIO usage. Make sure to connect GND only (!) to s GND pin. Also note this wire is not needed as GND is available from the DSI connector. Can' see FFC orientation from that pictures. Be sure to test w...

Your 5in in 800x480pixels, are you sure your TV will support this resolution?

What are the results of 'tvservice -m CVT' command for both displays?

See if you can find a resolution which is supported by both.
