Re: OpenELEC Testbuilds

r12055 - just updated. 1080p@60 has resized to show only maybe a quarter of the screen. a bit hard to nav even on the 52 inch. last five versions have failed to fit same rez to the screen, finally had to manually resize it to fit. running at 720p for the moment which fits about as well as 1080p has...

Re: RS clear cases.

Two months since I ordered, and now mine seems to be arriving tomorrow. It seems that there was some problem with my credit card. Nasty thing is that I haven't been notified about that by RS during this time. It's only after 3 calls on my part that they 'discovered' that issue.

Re: RS cases...a review

... So far I have been unable to locate the RS cases on the Allied (US subsidiary) web site.(I ordered directly from the UK) and the invoices from RS don't give any part numbers I could use to try looking them up. You can find out RS cases part numbers here . That's RS UK, but part numbers at RS Sp...

Can anyone else confirm a problem playing back the file under Openelec via the headphone jack or is it just me? I'm having same issue with HDMI audio. I'll see if I can try your clip tonight. Have you tried with r11949 ? Confirmed on r11949 published at testbuilds . Buzz sounds like distant, on the...

Wow! Quite a nice picture, dude! I see now that the actual case is a little bit different from the one depicted at the RS store: http://img-europe.electrocomponents.com/largeimages/R1235810-04.jpg but I don't care, I like that crystal clear finish (wonder if anybody has received a slightly-dark-see-...

Caja RS sin fecha de entrega

Re: Playing DVD (or Blu-Ray)

Now using the new raspian distro with Turbo mode on, mplayer is MUCH faster at playing unaccelerated MPEG (DVD) (up from around 8-10fps to nearly 20fps !) More so than I'd expect just from the overclock, so I wonder if someone has done some optimizing in mplayer ? Obviously that's nowhere near the ...

Re: Playing DVD (or Blu-Ray)

Wonder if this technique could also be used (in XBMC GUI) to play streams using codecs not supported by OMXplayer/RPi, like flash (or MPEG2 without a license). That would be a rocket jump from current situation and would allow anybody to play any media. Then one could opt for a license when hardware...

Re: Setting a minimum set of CPU speed parameters

Anyway - are we saying I can set arm_freq_min=800 and the RPi will recognise this (at school a ce moment so can't test) No, _min values above stock are currently not allowed. I'm considering allowing non-overvolted minimum settings. Good idea dom. Right now my overclocking settings (which shouldn’t...

Check out the blog post: http://www.raspberrypi.org/archives/2008 and you'll understand the tweaks to overclocking behaviour that have been occurring over the last couple of weeks. Note, that overclocking through raspi-config doesn't set your "warranty" bit. What sets the warranty bit now, is: (for...

btw, haven't had menu sound in ages. Anyone else? No menu sound here, either. Changing settings has no effect. You will need a different cable though cos the big end fits an iphone/ipad and the other is a standard male USB plug. Yeah, I was aware of the cable issue.
