Re: Serial port support for the raspi?

For all the FTDI users, I just followed a quick tutorial of a friend of mine and I got a connection now:

Re: FTDI driver status

I installed the driver, but my usb to serial isn't recognized. I used the winrt driver from ftdi and the howto from the driver lab:

Re: Win 10 IOT not showing configuration screen

I can confrirm this behavior. I used a class 4 sd and got the same issue as describe. I should mention that my apps were running fine, it was just the "splashscreen app" that didn't work. I could start the "splashscreen app" manually through the web interface, but I got a completely different screen...

Re: Is there any supported USB to Serial converter?

Problem is that the on-board UART is not supported according to this post.

Re: keyboard won't work!

They are experiencing the same kind of problems in another topic. Looks like some drivers are supported.

Re: keyboard won't work!

I'm using a Logitech k400r wireless keyboard/touchpad and works like a charm. Both mouse and keyboard work responsive and accurate, no problems at all.

Is there any supported USB to Serial converter?

I've connected a USB to serial converter (Digitus DA-70146), but that doesn't seem to be recognized by win10 iot. Is there any converter which is supported? Or any other option to connect a RS232 device.
