Magic Mirror

Hi, I've seen a load of posts and articles of late about making a magic mirror. I have a spare Pi lying around and could get my hands on a monitor to convert.

But would a Pi Zero be powerful enough?

Thinking of having weather, time and maybe sync to an Iphone calender if possible?

IS it possible to make a portable GPS system to track a cat? Ideally one that could be mounted on a collar?

Either Real time or downloadable?

Id be really interested to see where the cats dissappear to all day.

Anyone attempted this before?

Re: Pi 2 & Synology box

UPDATE:

I have now managed to mount the drive.

However it is forgotten after each reboot so each time I am having to re run the folloing code in LX Terminal

sudo mount -t nfs 192.168.0.17:/volume1/kodi /mnt/kodi

Is there anyway round this?

Synology NASs support NFS which is the native network file system in Linux. You do have to enable it on the Synology.
I enabled this, all the guides mention it
