i think that it is too...i've powered the HDD on and off and typed lsusb and that one was the one that showed up differently.

Ok how do i get openelec to recognise that as a HDD or mount it

device 1 = linux root hub
dev 2 = Standard microsoft hub
dev 3 = microsoft fast ethernet adaptor (for my keyboard)
dev 4 = Belkin Components (wireless usb)
dev 5 = Microsoft Corps
dev 6 = ASmedia Sata3gb/s bridge

External WD Elements HDD

Hi there. I've just purchased a Raspberry Pi 2 and i've installed OpenElec onto it so that i can run Kodi. I've succesfully set it all up and i've managed to get the USB ports working with a wireless wifi dongle and also a wireless keyboard. I've also set kodi to see my movies folder on another NAS....
