Re: Sound Quality with Pi Hut Speaker

Thank you evilkitty for your reply. I will increase the software volume in order to see if it helps. I am not trying to obtain Great quality, but I would like to eliminate the background noise from the speakers.

Sound Quality with Pi Hut Speaker

Hi, I am using some independently powered speakers (Sony brand) plugged into the 3.5mm Jack of a Raspberry Pi 2 Model B. Meanwhile, there is a significant amount of noise produced on the output and the quality of the sound is fairly poor (although I have read that the sound quality was supposed to b...

Connecting Multiple Servos to Single Battery Pack

Hi,

I wish to connect 17 Servos to a single NiMH Battery Pack. I would like to avoid soldering the wires together. Are there any types of connectors which I could use to connect all the Servos to the Battery? The Servos have a Standard Connector.

Thank you.

Re: Gauge Size for Powering 17 Servos

Thank you all for your answers. Yes indeed, I hadn't provided much details about the Servos. These are Standard Servos (MG996R) for a Humanoid Robot having 17 DOF. The datasheet for the Servos specifies the Voltage (4.8 - 7.2 V) but not the amperage.

Gauge Size for Powering 17 Servos

Hi, I was thinking of powering 17 Servos using a 6V Battery Pack, which has a universal radio connector with 22AWG Wire. Will this gauge size be enough to power all these Servos connected in Parallel, keeping in mind that I do not expect all of the Servos to be activated at once (but perhaps a few),...
