just don't mix the wires, it will work flawlessly, except you will need to have a 5v power supply on the other end, or just USB from your router if it has it.

Holy cow! Thanks! Just created a bunch of them! One more question, I see there is a lot of verbose there and logs there. Do I need to write my own functions to add verbose notifications a-la echo "my service is running" ? I see there are 2 possible parameters. for verbose: # Load the VERBOSE setting...
