Re: (UPDATE) Drivers for TL-WN725N V2 - 3.6.11+ -> 4.1.xx+

Last night I installed OSMC on a new raspberry pi B+ with a TP Link TL-WN725N V2.1 wifi dongle. I cannot seem to get the dongle to work at all with my raspberry pi. I have tried a few things throughout this message thread with no success. Last night I had been able to use it to connect to my network...

format is NTFS. Is there a file I can edit to change the default permissions when a device is first mounted?

Automount Permissions

Could someone let me know where I can find and edit the permissions that are set when an external hard drive or thumb drive is attached to the raspberry pi. When I plug in a hard drive to my pi it gives the permissions : drwx------ 1 pi pi Is there a way to change it so that it automatically gives r...

Re: 5V GPIO Max Current

Perfect thanks guys! The 2 amp poly fuse max was the answer I was looking for. I figured the raspberry pi B would be limited to 1 amp, but I have my B+ powering a hard drive which uses about 1 amp by itself and didn't know where the limits were.

Thanks again,
Kyle

Re: 5V GPIO Max Current

so what kind of maximum current can I draw through the 5V GPIO then? If I have a 5V 5A power supply will I be able to pull the remaining 4.3 amps through the pin to power the LED's? I won't be getting anywhere near this but I would like to know the limits so I don't push them.

Thanks again!

5V GPIO Max Current

Hey everyone, I am trying to power some neopixels with the raspberry pi and have a quick question about the maximum current permitted through the 5V pin. I keep coming across the following statement: "maximum permitted current draw from the 5v pin is the USB input current (usually 1A) minus any curr...

Re: Stream library to outside network

I have seen similar posts about this before but always with a raspberry pi 2. I have multiple raspberry pi B and B+ and was wondering whether it would work with these models? I realize the raspberry pi will be unable to transcode files which isn't an issue.

Thanks again.
