Re: Minecraft Server on a Pi Desktop Server?

I know Minecraft Server will work on Debian. What I don't know is can a server be put on another server? And can a client on a server be a client on another server? Both servers being on same machine.

Minecraft Server on a Pi Desktop Server?

So I have an old ThinkPad that I installed raspberry Pi Desktop for x85 to. I'm setting it up as a server and am going to add 3 Pi3 B+ as clients. Can I set this server up to be a Minecraft Server as well? Or does it need to be its own entity?

Re: can't login Raspian lite P1 B+

reflashed card with Stretch lite and undervoltage warning came up again. Is the new Raspian more critical? or does it need to run on Pi3 or Zero only?

Re: can't login Raspian lite P1 B+

As an addon, I just noticed the yellow lightning bolt which says low voltage. Was fine with Wheezy.

Changed power supply (2A) and still get lightning bolt.

Rebooted back to Wheezy and all is good!!???? Power is adequate and no login issues.

So, what is Stretch lite doing to cause this??

can't login Raspian lite P1 B+

Originally had Wheezy, then one+ year later did upgrade to Wheezy. Then tried MotioneyeOS. Both worked fine, no issues. Now installed newest version Raspian lite (Stretch lite) and it starts booting then gets to " raspberrypi login: " I have tried pi, raspberry, my old password and nothing happens o...

Re: raspi-config doesn't set turbo mode

Fixed! apparently scaling_cur_freq is what it is at the moment scaling_max_freq is it's potential another tidbit that some may find useful I use ZIM on my Linux machines as a notebook organizer put it on the pi to keep track of these commands and it automatically hyperlinked them for me. Now I just ...

Re: pi and usb Cameras

That's the site that has given me the most info.

I finally got 2 instances of motion running, but it still doesn't turn 2nd cam on. The other issue? is that I can change frame rate from 2 -100fps and it doesn't seem to change anything. Get something like stop action shots. No stream video at all.

pi and usb Cameras

Ok long winded. I successfully hooked up Logitech webcam to Raspi and used Motion and could access video through webpage. Motion allows multiple cameras. You just add another config file that motion.conf points to. Problem. In the motion.conf it lists some of the following: # File to store the proce...
