Re: TV HAT - finds muxes but no services

What happens if you go to Configuration -> DVB Inputs -> Networks and look at the DVB-T Network row. Is there a # Services with a number other than zero, as well as 9 # Muxes? Try pressing Force Scan, see if it re-scans the 9 Muxes for services?

Pi TV Hat questions

Just got a Pi TV hat working - so far so good. Does anyone know what the 2-pin header on the PCB is used for that I've circled in red below...? pitv.jpg Is it possible to use more than 1 tuner card stacked up? Can multiple devices share an SPI bus? Can it also receive DAB radio streams? Looking at t...

Re: USB <-> serial adapter

I've just done this yesterday (connecting a Psion 5 on RS232 to get shell access). First, I assume you're wanting shell access on these USB-RS232 adaptors? You used to be able to add a line to /etc/inittab to enable shell on an additional serial device but that has since been dropped in favour of sy...

Re: Pi vs Pi2 as multimedia center

I use a Flirc USB IR dongle and a spare IR remote control for day to day use. Just tried a mouse on the pi and when videos are playing the mouse has some noticable lag to it. Never noticed that before. Could be an issue with Kodi or a lack of horsepower on Pi.. not too sure without more experimentat...

Re: Pi vs Pi2 as multimedia center

My pi2 is running Raspian and Kodi slapped on the top with a USB DVB-T stick and a 3TB drive for all the films. Kodi is instantly responsive on the Pi2 compared to the old Pi B+. A real pleasure to use. The MPEG2 codec is essential so that the GPU can decode DVB-T streams in the UK, but this was the...

Re: RPI2 Boot issues

I too have experienced intermittent boot issues with my new RPI2. I've got a Transcend 32gb card from Amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00CES44EO , used Win32DiskImager to copy the latest Raspian (2015-01-31) to it. SHA-1 checksum is correct on my download. Pi is set up with serial-usb lead...
