Converted Files

I have been looking around and finally been directed to the pcb design files, the problem is that I don't have an orCAD license because I am not eligible to receive one. I was wondering if anyone could a) link me to the converted files (that I can open in KiCAD or something free) or b) screen shot t...

Re: SODIMM Connector

Did you actually look in the ZIP file ? README.txt contains the following This zip file should contain: README.txt (this file) RPI-CMIO-V1_2-PUBLIC.DSN (Cadence OrCAD Schematic) RPI-CMIO-V1_2-PUBLIC.brd (Cadence OrCAD/Allegro PCB file) RPI-CMIO-V1_2-PUBLIC-BOM.xlsx (Bill of Materials) RPI-CMIO-V1_2...

You said
what each of the SODIMM connector pins on the CM are for,
and AFAICS that's what the PDF does.
I'm sorry, I meant to originally say I wanted the pcb designs.

Re: SODIMM Connector

Thanks, but I've already seen those, I have been told that the cad files need a lisence for some software but because the thread was removed I can't figure out what I need. If you know where the cad files are and what software I need or have a picture or pdf etc. conversion of them. I am looking for...

Re: New compute module?

I think it will probably be a good while before they make a new CM because the 2 is brand new. Also, to many the extra processing power is unnecessary and would be considered overkill.

SODIMM Connector

I was wondering if anyone could tell me (or direct me to the answer) what each of the SODIMM connector pins on the CM are for, if not I also am looking for the CMIO pcb designs and directions on how to view them free.
Thanks in advance! :D :D

Re: Compute Custom Board

Thanks, I have seen some of these before but the rest are great. I haven't looked at them in any depth. I will ask again if they aren't what I need.

Re: 2nd USB port

If I'm not incorrect (correct me if I am) It would be possible to add a second port through a custom breakout board.

Compute Custom Board

I have been unable to find a document detailing the use of the pins (or whatever you want to call them) for the compute module itself. I am interested in them because I am attempting to create a breakout/custom board of my own that centers around the compute and has HDMI, micro USB charging and data...
