Well, its been quite sometime since and I haven't heard from Ben.
I do notice the number of comments on the blog entries on the new website are w-a-y down from what similar stories have attracted in the past. I wonder if not as many are (re)-visiting the website at all.

I tried to PM to Ben Nuttal on some private thoughts about the website ( I prefer not to be public about my writing, its more friendly i believe to make it more like a cosy chat ) but it just sits there in my outbox.
Is that normal? does it become 'Sent' when the recipient reads it?

Risky business indeed, I could have had a rejection but it slipped through the review process
It turned out a little darker than I was used in in my development software, but hey, its a start. I'll brighten it next time.

The Pi in question does NOT have internet connected.
Even in locations out of 3G range, and no wifi

But at startup it still shows correct time and date. Even after 3 months on the shelf.

yeah,, and i remember the various versions as they describe. I would come home from upper primary school and notice the aural differences.
