Hi Tinqui, Thanks for the reply. The link actually did it for me. did not have spi - enabled on the 3.18.7+ Kernel. Stupid me! But still don't know what the other problem on 3.12.35+ was. I can see messages on CAN bus through CANoe, and just the first message came through. The second message was not...

Hi Rpi Community, My PICAN worked like a charm the last few weeks. Now i encountered a problem where after each Message send on my bus, i wasnt able to send a second message. I had to reboot my can-device : ifconfig can0 down ifconfig can0 up to send the next message. I did not change any of my setu...

$cd usr/local/bin/candump
candump is not a directory, it is the executable!
use that instead:

dont cd the candump!

hi guyvz, if the lsmod shows the same as before, and the dmesg is right: try to find out where candump is (whereis candump). go to that directory: cd /your/directory. check again on the permission of that file : $ls -al. if there are no x permissions: sudo chmod 777 candump if there are the x permis...
