RPi cam disturbs WLAN dongle?

Hi there, my WLAN connection via Edimax dongle gets unstable whenever the camera gets activated by motion software. Response times on the ssh shell are bad and often the WLAN connection totally breaks down. This happens on two different RPis, two different camera boards and two different power suppl...

Re: Brightness of RPi cam using motion

Thanks a lot!

/etc/uv4l/uv4l-raspicam.conf was what I was looking for.

After lowering the framerate from 30 down to 2, the sensitivity of motion snapshots in dark surroundings is significantly improved!

Cheers,

Brightness of RPi cam using motion

Hi there, I have installed the motion package and uv4l which maps the RPi cam to /dev/video0. Everything works quite fine, but taken images are quite dark. A Raspistill image taken under the same (bad) light conditions is brighter than the snapshots taken by motion. Is there a way to optimize image ...

Re: POTSBLIZ

Hi there,

I spent some effort to Bluetooth-enable my telephony project:

https://github.com/long-exposure/potsbliz-src

Thanks to a Bluetooth HFP connection with a smartphone is now possible to initiate and accept phone calls on a Raspberry Pi. Any test report and feedback is welcome!

Re: Qt GDB Python support

I just have to click the debug button. QtCreator then starts the gdb-server (on the Raspberry Pi and NOT on the dev host).

Re: Qt GDB Python support

You have to install gdb-multiarch on your development host (Ubuntu): sudo apt-get install gdb-multiarch Then in the Debuggers tab of QtCreator you have to add a new manual entry: Name: Multiarch GDB Path: /usr/bin/gdb-multiarch And in the Raspberry Pi Kit tab of QtCreator you have select Multiarch G...

Re: Bluetooth HFP

Finally I made it work! The solution was: Ofono and Bluez from Rasbian Jessie and Pulseaudio Version 6 or 7 compiled from the sources. The Pulseaudio package that is bundled within Jessie does NOT work! It plays nicely in my Raspberry Pi telephone project. You can see the sources and give it a try h...

Bluetooth HFP

Hi there, did someone ever had success in connecting a raspberry pi via Bluetooth (HFP - hands-free-profile) with a smartphone and has established incoming or outgoing phone calls? I've installed Bluez and Ofono and finally had success in pairing my phone and the raspberry pi. But when I call ofono'...

POTSBLIZ

Hi all, during xmas holidays I found some time to finalize another Raspberry Pi project: POTSBLIZ: Plain Old Telephone Service Behind Local IP Stack It's about hacking an old rotary dial telephone for being VoIP- and WLAN-enabled. The result is rather cool, so I have shared hardware and software inf...
