Martin - I see valid CAN data on the Pi via candump - but only for a couple of seconds or so, before it stops receiving completely. 1. Martin - Thank you for all the informative posts you've made on this thread. :) I had a couple of questions. I'm using a Pi Model B, with a PICAN board, to connect to a vehicular CAN-bus. My problem is that I can set up the software correctly and start candump, and as soon as I plug the cable/wires ...

I've posted here before, hoping somebody can help me out. I've got a Pi model B with a PICAN board. I've hooked up wires to the screen pins and an OBDII connector frame (correctly, pin 6 to CAN_H and pin 14 to CAN_L).
