Re: Gngeo function keys not working

First of all, thank you! However there are a few things that I don't like about this emulator: 1. I still can't seem to access the game bios. 2. The launcher is very small (although the game itself isn't). 3. Do you really have to scroll through 736 roms in the launcher if you've only got like 20 ga...

Gngeo function keys not working

Hi, My problem is that the Function keys (F1 - F12) are not working in gngeo 0.8 (I'm using the latest version of PiMAME). If I press them, there is no response from the program at all. For example, if I press F4 and then some keys it should normally show me the scancode of those keys (for changing ...

Well, everything seems to work just fine, GPIO Pin #23, too.
I'll do some testing and report back but it looks good.

Accidently connected 5V with GPIO Pin - nothing happened?

Hi, I accidently connected the 5 Volt output of the Raspberry Pi with a GPIO Input Pin (#23) a few minutes ago, but the Pi just continued to work fine and it seems as if nothing had happened. Also I noticed that I was using the following set-up for quite some time and nothing occured: 5v --> 10k Pul...

Thread with poll looks weird in Google Chrome - only for me?

Hi,

This thread: http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewt ... =26&t=8346

looks really weird in Google Chrome 20.0.1132.57 m
Here's a screenshot: http://i.imgur.com/grdWs.png

Is this an issue only I am facing, or does it look the same for everyone else?

Re: Rar and unrar on Raspbian

Yes, it said something like "It's not recommended to use this type of unrar tool".
Or something like that.
Anyway I've got the non-free version working now, so it's fine.

Thank you. Trying this right now :-)

EDIT: It worked fine. For people coming from google:
After this you have to install the created .deb file by typing dpkg -i xxxxxxxxx.deb (<-- insert name of .deb)

Rar and unrar on Raspbian

Hi, could someone help me getting rar and unrar working on Raspbian? It doesn't seem to be included in the repositories but I'm pretty sure that there must be some way to get it working...? I found this post: http://www.raspberrypi.org/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?p=96176#p96176 In the meantime you should b...

Keeping process running after ssh session has been closed

Hi, I hope that someone can help me. My idea is to use the Raspberry Pi as an uploader for Amazon S3. I have to perform a large upload to Amazon S3 and would like to let the Pi perform it. Basically I'd put the file that should be uploaded on an USB-Stick and insert it into the RPi. I set up the Pi ...

Re: Powered USB Hub Problems (Any reccomendations)

Alright well I went down to my local computer store to buy a powered usb hub... I went and picked up a Belkin USB 7-port Powered Hub (Part#: F4U018-BLK) and had nothing but problems. When I first put my USB hub in and plugged my Wireless N Nano adapter and Bluetooth adapter into it it issued Kernel...

USB Hub powers RPi accidentally

Hi, I've already found a few forums threads about the issue that a powered USB-Hub is powering the Pi over its data connection but none of these answered my question if this may damage the Pi. I've got an 7-USB-Port powered hub by Belkin and when I pull out the Micro USB cable out of the Pi it still...

Composite output working?

Hi, I'm getting my Raspberry Pi very soon and at the moment my only possibility to connect it somewhere is to use a TV which has got a scart input.
