Re: Windows 10 SD Image download

No I did not buy the pi for Win10 Desktop environment. Lets see I already own roughly 15 pi's and use them for all sorts of different purposes and platforms. With that many it means I have a couple sitting around idle, I figured why not check out this Windows 10 I am hearing about. I am no dummy in ...

Re: Windows 10 SD Image download

So i want to follow up and complain now that i got it running. Windows 10 on the rpi is bs. There is no OS, there isnt even really a command prompt. It a remote shell that allows you to develop on it. So this whole big ooh look windows 10 will run on it is a straight up lie. Completly misleading. It...

Windows 10 SD Image download

So I see that Windows 10 IoT is out but I also see its circus to get it installed and running on an PI. So I have to have Windows 10 on my main PC before I can test it on a Pi. Seems sorta silly. Has no one in the community not already gone through this process and then imaged there flash card and m...

A lot of views and not many replies I guess its just time to re-install, time to get started.

Oh one friend mentioned trying to validate or cleaning files but I think that was covered with what I did above.

Re: Raspberry pi random HDMI loss

I have this exact same issue with one of my streaming pi's I would like to know if this solved your problem please update us. My only reason I think this is not the issue is because if you are having a power issue I would imagine you would see a little rainbow box in the top right corner of the scre...

Torrent Client Crashes Immediatly

So everything was working fine for quite some time - no changes to anything have been made. It would crash in the middle of the night while it was running sometimes but usually not for some time allowing torrents to complete, sometimes it would lock up the PI and I would have to reboot it.. Running ...

Re: Can't Browse HTTPS Sites?

Everything I find about it seems a little over my head I have no idea what they are talking about. something to do with libsoup and or glib-networkings and perhaps a recompile which I do not know how to do. Below are the best two places I could find anything about it but beyond just downloading glib...

I found this.

So debian 8 has steam but debian 7 doesn't. Says we could upgrade probably not the best approach or build a jessie chroot .

What does that mean build Chroot?

Re: Multiple OS Installation & Management

Berry Boot is the key and all encompassing. No need to download anything other that this. It installs all OS's including Retro-Pie and it manages the boot selector. My Selection is the Latest Raspbian - OpenElec - Retro Pie, it pretty much covers everything minus some game streaming. The only tools/...
