Re: New Complete Web-Based SqueezePlug Version Available

Ok, thanks for that, good to know. I was just trying to follow the Squeezeplug Max2Play instructions, and it says to configure the soundcard via the web interface. Just to be clear, is it not actually possible currently to configure the hifiberry digi card from the web interface? Thanks, Adrian Spe...

Re: New Complete Web-Based SqueezePlug Version Available

Hi, I have a hifiberry Digi sound card, but it is not obvious on the Squeezelite settings page how I set this card up - I want to play out of the SPDIF electrical plug (not optical). Any suggestions on how I do this, or does it play out of there automatically? Thanks, Adrian They both work at the s...

Re: SqueezePlug Version 7 available

Have you reinstalled the card and tried again? I uninstalled Squeezelite and when I re installed it and added the Wolfson, it said "looks like wolfson is already installed" or something like that. Do you know how i can uninstall the wolfson stuff without starting from scratch with the LMS as well? ...

Re: SqueezePlug Version 7 available

A long shot: at terminal sudo apt-get install mpg123 Reboot and try kiwi fm again. Tried that, but unfortunately it didn't seem to help. Any other suggestions? Is there a log that might indicate the problem? Okay - might be a LMS issue. At LMS gui Settings Advanced Select File type from top left dr...

Re: SqueezePlug Version 7 available

Hi Guys, I am having a problem getting any MP3 internet radio streams to play (AAC works fine). The LMS server seems to find the station and show it's playing, but there is no sound. An example of one of these stations is Kiwi FM. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can fix this? Thanks, Adrian

Re: SqueezePlug Version 7 available

Hi castalla, Looks like I didn't see your other post before I asked the question. Anyway, i pasted in "//NAS-ip-address/Music /mnt/MYMUSIC cifs username=guest, password=,sec=ntlm" and it works well -easy as pi :-) Out of curiosity, what does "sec=ntlm" do? Now I just need to get the wifi connection w...

Re: SqueezePlug Version 7 available

Hi castalla, I have done all that, and here is my fstab file. What do you suggest I do next? Note the bottom line: 192.168.0.101:/Music /mnt/nfs/ nfs defaults 0 0 is what came from the Squeezeplug setup wizzard. It looks correct, but doesn't allow LMS access to the NAS drive (unlike the manual metho...

Re: SqueezePlug Version 7 available

Hi castalla and hannesie, Thanks for the help! So, I have set up the mount as described in the steps, and can see the files from the Pi on my NAS drive, in this case in the location NAS-IP-Address/Music. Interestingly, when I went to mount it, the PI asked for a password. As the "Music" share on my ...

Re: SqueezePlug Version 7 available

Hi, I have tried a number of times to get the LMS to see my NAS (WD Mybook Live) with all my music files on it, but with no luck. My Music is stored in a share with no access restrictions, "Public\Music" (i.e. no user name or password required for any other device that accesses this share). I have a...
