Re: How To Setup RetroPi

I've given up on Retropie. I managed to get a BerryBoot version working but now, every time I try to run it I get errors and nothing works. Haven't a clue what's the problem each time. Frankly, life is too short to spend fixing problems with Retropie just for the sake of playing a couple of retro ga...

Re: Kali Linux

Thanks for the advice (albeit a little disdainful in tone) and will do better in future.

BTW the commands you suggested do not work :-(

So back to drawing board.

Thanks anyway

Re: Kali Linux

Thank you.

Apologies for posting a bit off topic but I find these fora rather confusing and kind of 'sporadic'. Kali seems to crop up all over.

Helpful response though, thanks.

Re: Kali Linux & PiJuice

Hi, I am in the process of building a Kali pen test/vulnerability scanner kit based on RPI3 and the 7" official display. So far, so good with the installation of everything. However, so that I can build in some resilience to power problems (ie can set it up and leave it without worrying about power ...

Customising Wordpress Website

Hi, sorry if this question has been raised elsewhere - I searched the forums but couldn't find any reference to it. I have set up the basics for my website on my Pi2 and wanted to download a new theme. When I follow the link in the dashboard Wordpress asks me for details of my FTP server to download...

Re: I2C, SPI, I2S, LIRC, PPS, stopped working? Read this.

Thanks both. I too thought the resolving the mirror was fundamental to my problem. However, Pinventor (Mr PiandBash) suggested it could be a cache problem. So I did apt-cache policy i2c-tools i2c-tools and everything began working again. The resolving mirror problem went away and the remainder of th...

Re: I2C, SPI, I2S, LIRC, PPS, stopped working? Read this.

All fascinating stuff but as a novice this is all flew over my head. Since recently upgrading my NOOBS installation to v1.3.11 my Piand Bash no longer works. This seems to be associated with the i2c issues mentioned in this thread. However, I am getting error messages related to Could not resolve mi...

Latest NOOBS Download won't unzip (solved)

Just downloaded latest NOOBS release zip file but cannot unpack it. I keep getting an unspecified error message for the root.tar.xc file. I get this error message whether I unzip and copy the copy the files to the SD card or if I unzip direct to the SD card. Any ideas anyone?
