Display not working with new Raspbian Image (2016-09-23)

I flashed a new SD with the new Image 2016-09-23-raspbian-jessie, did an sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade and connected the official touch display. The screen stays black, SSH works. With the old SD-Card 2016-05-27-raspbian-jessie the Display is working fine.

Any idears?

Raspbian Security Repository

There is a critical security bug again and i was thinking about adding the "debian security repository" as it was mentioned by some security organizations.

Wheres the security repository for raspbian and is it "safe" to use it?
