Again thank for your great advises. I know I'm going a little off subject. But you don't know of any solution restoring a new SD card from a USB Stick? Then you could have a quite small SD image to write to an empty SD card. Then you have your USB stick with a complete updated installation with all ...

Thanks AndrewS - that was exactly the reason. :) I have now made a new SD card with an old image and it was just inserting the new SD card and power up the R-Pi and then wireless and Bluetooth dongles were working like a charm. :P But now I have a 8 GB SD card and the old was 4 GB.
