Re: Emulation on the Raspberry Pi&Pi2 (Updated 26/08/2015)

Btw, i fixed ppsspp-libretro Makefile the other day, people should be able to build it on rpi2 by running

Code: Select all

make -C libretro platform=rpi2
As mentioned in my last post, don't expect full speed except on a few games, you can try playing with core settings though

Re: Emulation on the Raspberry Pi&Pi2 (Updated 25/07/2015)

Sorry BarbuDreadMon, not too much into coding and tech, so could you please simplify the language? Thanks so much :? There is no coding and tech in what i wrote, i just warned happi game center is/was in violation of copyrights and bring nothing new (no 3DO, Saturn, Jaguar, PSP and Virtual Boy emul...

Re: Emulation on the Raspberry Pi&Pi2 (Updated 25/07/2015)

Happi Game Center is a retropie fork where the developper closed sources, the previous version i tried also had copyright issues (bios files were included). 3DO, Saturn, Jaguar, PSP and Virtual Boy on Happi Game Center are standard libretro cores running slowly on 99% games (i suppose you won't noti...

Re: CaveStory, only rpi b?

Replacing "emulationstation" with the command-line to launch cave story in your .bash_profile (or whatever is used to launch emulationstation at boot on your distro) should do the trick.

Re: ColecoVision & MESS help

Yes, libretro-fba needs a bios (same as mess) to run coleco. I attach the clrmamepro dat file for fba coleco to this post if you have issues finding the correct set.

Re: ColecoVision & MESS help

You are wrong, FBA support arcade, megadrive, supernes, pcengine, mastersystem, gamegear, sg1000 and colecovision games. And its libretro implementation do the same (i'm the maintainer). To check which cv games are supported, go to https://github.com/libretro/libretro-fba/blob/master/gamelist.txt an...

https://github.com/libretro/libretro-fba allows you to play colecovision games too.

Re: recalboxOS - emulation platform for RPi and RPi2

I confirm aliens is also running at full speed with latest fba (with color issues). The issue is either with your OC settings, or your cpufreq governor is not set on performance.

AmigaGamer wrote:One issue i notice is FBA 029734 through libretro is very slow on konami (eg aliens) and cps3 roms.
Did you add profile=performance to make ? Didn't try aliens but i'm playing cps3 at full speed with the new libretro-fba.

Gentoo + emulationstation + retroarch

I've been spending a few days on trying to get it to work, it's a pain in the ass (hopefully i've been using gentoo for x86/amd64 since 2001/2002), but it seems it's worth it : I did some benchmark on some random cps2 games (with fb-alpha-libretro, not piFBA), i'm still not at 100% speed on gentoo, ...

piFBA + PS3 controller + D-PAD

Hello everyone ! Any idea on how to replace axis with d-pad on a ps3 controller with pifba ? I'm pretty sure it is possible since they said something about d-pad (hat) support for joystick in last changelog. I found some topic talking about changing axis to 4/5 instead of 0/1 and disabling axis at s...
