Since this thread has been bumped, a better way to turn HDMI off and on with recent firmware is: vcgencmd display_power 0 vcgencmd display_power 1 This does not change resolution or require any refreshing of the framebuffer. I have not tested this with DSI, DPI, or CVBS outputs. Possibly they still...

I am having this same issue. I have located the /etc/group file, opened it and added the pi user to the bluetooth line as shown above but I am not being allowed to save the file. Do I have to be logged in as root? I've installed java, gimp, stella, made a custom font folder & a dozen other things s...

Yes, would use a powered hub. This may not be your problem, but it will eliminate a possibility

Take- got a nee problem. my ex fat4 Drive is loaded under root. I can access the drive with a sudo file server, and xbmc , sorry KODI, sees it just fine. I would like it with full permissions-(I don't worry about security) the fstab says 'defaults'. what am I missing??
