Re: Cirrus audio card create L/R channel ALSA devices

I think you need to use two usb audio card to handle the job. You can use 2x http://www.dx.com/p/hexin-universal-usb-2-0-external-sound-card-adapter-for-laptop-pc-white-160513 one is seen as hw:1 and hw:2 for the other one. I can test that end of the week if you want. arecord does have a parameter y...

it seems that is due to the logitech usb headset because when i'm using a mini usb sound card ( http://www.dx.com/p/hexin-universal-usb-2-0-external-sound-card-adapter-for-laptop-pc-white-160513 ) i haven't the problem. pi1 = in audio:hexin usb pi2 = in audio:headset usb pi3 = in audio:headset usb p...

I changed also the buffer max size (i put twice the number) in alsa.h in the libav directory (before compiling) and compile it but nothing changed.

Re: Looking for ideas or resources on adding HD/SDI video ou

hello, definitely for the moment there are no add-ons boards doing this. Broadcasters are just a few people so i think it could be not cheap to develop such a thing. i did a lot of rpi hd-sdi for some uses; you can use a small hdmi to hd-sdi (like this one http://www.amazon.fr/XCSOURCE®-SD-SDI-Conve...

hi,

May be you can change some things and it could do what you want.

Or whynot use openOB with multicast adress. So good !

We can discuss and draw some plans if you want. I think if we make a BIG tars or a small tars I don't know how it works, but for now...

Re: low latency wifi audio streaming help

Why voip ? it's complicated for just transmitting one audio to many receivers. Mumble can handle it but without line command interface. This command line works (attached an usb mic to your pi) while true ; do arecord -D plughw:1,0 -r 44100 -c 2 -f S16_LE | avconv -i - -acodec mp3 -ab 320k -ac 1 -f r...

Re: low latency wifi audio streaming help

Or try directly this

Code: Select all

pi@rpi1HEADSETusb ~ $ while true ; do arecord -D plughw:1,0 -r 44100 -c 2 -f S16_LE | avconv -i - -acodec mp2 -ab 320k -ac 1 -f rtp rtp://224.0.1.14:5000 ; sleep 1 ; done
Vlc on each pc you want to listen the lic can open it. Enter rtp://@224.0.1.14:5000

Re: low latency wifi audio streaming help

It's easy with arecord and avconc with a multicast address.

See my last post on this thread http://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewt ... 48#p656348

Maybe not possble to listen with vlc without a .sdp file

Ifnot i can i can tell you how to create it.

Ok it works ! So the main problem was Alsa can play only one stream. The ressource cannot be used for playing an other stream, even you create several ssh session. I work on that too. For latency issues you can work with a better codec like opus. pi@TX ~ $ arecord -D plughw:1,0 -f dat | opusenc --bitrate 64 --max-delay 0 --comp 0 --framesize 2.5 --hard-cbr - - | nc "ip rpi rx" 7001 pi@RX ~ $ nc -l 7001 | opusdec - - | aplay -D plughw:1,0 -f dat i will try avco...
