Re: FEDORA ARM INSTALLER -- Problem

<t>Couldn't someone just upload all of the extracted files onto a server and have people just wait the extra time to download all of the files? They could just copy and paste the files to their cards. I did this before with a boot-able partition on a flash drive and it worked fine. I don't see why i...

Re: The current state of delivery

<t>You will get an email telling you "We've Held Your Place in Line!" and you can purchase it. I originally got June 31st as a delivery date, but I got pushed back to April 10th. The companies are going fast as they can! Express interest ASAP and you'll get on the list. Quick, before the other 20,00...

Re: Printable cases (using OHP film)

<t>Hmmm... These are off the Beta board dimensions? I have access to OHP but only once without getting on people's nerves. Are you sure the ports are open with enough clearance for ports with plastic on the sides? It seems like a lot of WiFi transmitters have a lot of bulky width, but it's probably ...

Re: Newark Order

<t>I'm in the United States and I'm wondering a couple of things about ordering. I can't get ANYTHING from Newark, the chat window is unresponsive. I was charged sales tax, first. This is not legal unless the company is in state. Is Newark currently stationed in MA? Second, they said "Next order shi...

<t>Really, just to get the feel of coding, I would start with Batch. It's not gonna help you here at all, but it's easy to understand and makes you feel accomplished. You'll find yourself setting them up to automate things and even talking to you in big trees of logical 'if' statements! Have fun, bu...

My fantasy: Build it into your home, have interaction panels in each room, talk to it via microphone headset or even just hidden mikes, just like Iron Man! That would be awesome if you could get Siri on the Pi and hide a mike somewhere.

<t>Hello! I'm from the United States, and I was up at 1 AM EST for the launch! It seems the companies were only taking direct orders from customers in the United Kingdom, which is fine. Now I am able to "express interest". I am wondering if there is another page to use for purchase, and when they wi...

I am wondering two things. At first launch, will both models be available? Also, in EST, the launch will be 1 AM, correct? Let"s all oil up our F5 keys!

Bonus question: Why"s the store down now?

<t>I'm wondering what we'll get when we order the Raspberry Pi. The Wiki has left me confused by Serial Ports. Will the computer be ready to boot from an SD card when shipped? I have the impression that you can use something like UNetbootin to install the OS ported to ARM for the device. Does it hav...

Re: Keyboard as Case

I was thinking of having the Pi in the keyboard without a huge, long HDMI cable sticking out and running across the living room. I'm thinking that the wireless keyboard is the only route.

P.S. Sorry @Jessie it's a habit from YouTube. So is the @.

<t>I was thinking of using an old keyboard to hold the Pi but I don't know how I would set it up HDMI monitor wise because I saw that there was no support for VGA, and I was wondering if there was a wireless way to connect over HDMI via adapter or if it would be better to just put it in something el...
