Yes and yes. I've updated to the latest (apt-get update, apt-get full-upgrade, apt-get dist-upgrade) and latest firmware (rpi-update): Linux octopi 4.19.105-v7l+ #1296 SMP Thu Feb 20 16:22:59 GMT 2020 armv7l GNU/Linux Feb 20 2020 16:43:11 Copyright (c) 2012 Broadcom version 00f355997ccdacfaac70e6e0...

Re: Does the Raspberry Pi 4 throttle at 60 C or 70 C? (also question about fan PWM speed)

I'm trying to change the PoE fan temperature thresholds because the default of 50 degrees seems too low. (the fan is constantly coming on/off) I've read about the parameters to change (poe_fan_temp0/poe_fan_temp1) but what are the 'safe' temperatures for the Raspberry Pi 4? It sounds like the RPi4 ...

Re: Raspberry Pi GPU Concept

The PCIe-x1 USB Hub is also a placeholder for an interface chip with the Host PC. It is there to provide power and Ethernet. PCIe is too high bandwidth for the Pi so we use a bus that is within its capability instead. The rest of the USB ports come from the Pi. If there is only one available, it ca...

Hi, I am trying to compile the open source Mullvad VPN app on Pi 4B running DietPi (a raspbian 9.0 distribution). Re: Pi 4 B + POE power

Hi All, Got a Pi 4 B. If I got a micro usb to usb c adapter could I use one of the cheaper poe to usb adapters to power it? If the PoE solution can output 5v 2.5A, then it should be OK, but no guarantee, depends on the quality of the product. The Official PoE HAT is well engineered. There have been...

Re: Undervoltage RasberryPi won't boot

So after my Pi opened, I connected an Arduino Uno board via the USB ports (Note that the power supply for the Pi was an USB cable CONNECTED to my laptop so 5V with a maximum of 500mA). After I connected the Arduino Uno board, it stayed on for like 1 second and then my Pi started to reboot, or so I ...

I need the desktop to run GUI software app Obviously you are not interested, but for the benefit for those who are reading this in the future it does have a desktop environment which needs to be installed seperately, an Ethernet Connection is preferable for initial setup: https://iotbyhvm.ooo/picor...
