Re: Volume is dirty (External HDD - NTFS)

I found 57 mentions, in one form or another, for "volume is dirty" in the Raspberry forums. None seemed to provide an answer for what is happening; so, ... dmesg contained: [ 4813.607739] sda: sda1 [ 4813.609700] sd 0:0:0:0: [sda] Attached SCSI disk [ 4814.429416] ntfs: volume version 3.1. Re: wheezy archives needed for pygame and touchscreens

Hi, I just noticed that the wheezy archives have been removed. This breaks pygame for touchscreens, because the version of libsdl1 of Raspbian is broken since Jessie. To make pygame work with tslib you need to downgrade to the wheezy version. For details on this issue see https://learn.adafruit.com...

Re: 802.11AC? defaults to N?

I'm testing with speedtest.net, desktop showed 118 megabit, seconds later RPi showed around 45 that time... modem is an arris SBG7580AC, however it doesn't show you the negotiated speed(or standard, just that its on 5GHZ) in the router settings. Is there a way to view negotiated speed, or wireless ...

Re: From where should i download raspbian stretch with desktop and raspbian stretch with desktop and recommended softwar

There’s always a wider audience that will have FUD around earlyish adoption of the new distro, and with some things definitely still broken in buster I acknowledge people’s desire to stick with stretch presently. Possibly, but it's an awfully specific request for a first post. Its a shame for cases...

Is there one standard for how hotspot authentication is done? It's been my experience there are a wide variety of different mechanisms to accomplish this, and my various devices (Android phones and tablets) work well with some, but not with others. I have a 3B+ and a CanaKit 5V power supply that came with it.

Why would I need Buster when NOOBS includes Raspbian?

NoobS is an installer / chooser....

Raspbian Buster is the currently supported by the RPF / RPT Operating System....
